Invisalign®: The Clear Alternative to Braces

Invisalign® aligners won't get in the way of your lifestyle!

The Invisalign system gives you the freedom of a nearly invisible way to straighten your teeth so you can keep living your life! The ‘barely there’ aligners don't affect your lifestyle and allow you to eat all your favourite foods and stay active whilst straightening your smile.

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® treatment uses a series of clear plastic removable orthodontic aligners to gently move your teeth in small increments. For the best results, Invisalign clear aligners are to be worn 20 to 22 hours a day. Each aligner is slightly different, you’ll wear a set of aligners for one to two weeks or as prescribed by our orthodontist, before moving onto the next set.

Advantages of Invisalign® are:

  • Nearly invisible

  • Removable

  • Less discomfort

  • Better oral health

Your orthodontist will use advanced 3D imaging equipment and software to develop custom made aligners designed to move your teeth into the desired position. The Invisalign software allows patients to see a virtual model of what their final result will look like before the aligners have even been ordered.

Each Invisalign patient will receive a series of aligners; each aligner will be worn for 1-2 weeks. By exerting mild forces, Invisalign moves the teeth into the prescribed position.

How much does Invisalign Cost?

The cost of Invisalign will vary depending on your teeth and the treatment plan to align them. Contributing factors can include treatment goals, length of treatment and your current tooth alignment. We accept a wide range of payment methods and have plenty of flexible pay later finance options including 18 months Interest-Free*.

How long does Invisalign treatment usually take?

The length of your Invisalign® treatment will depend on the movement required to straighten your teeth and can only be determined by your orthodontist.

How often will I have to wear my clear aligners?

Aligners are most effective when worn at least 20 to 22 hours a day. We recommend only removing for eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing and flossing your teeth.

Will Invisalign hurt my teeth?

You may experience discomfort of pressure for the few days that follow each aligner change. This is completely normal and is a sign that the clear aligners are moving your teeth into their straighter position. Any pain or discomfort that you experience will be noticeably less than traditional metal braces can cause.

What are the benefits of Invisalign?

Invisalign is an aesthetic, comfortable way to align your teeth. The aligners are removable and therefore do not impact your dietary or oral hygiene habits.
